In this course, emphasis is placed on quantitative applications of concepts in both lecture and lab work. Topics include atomic structure, quantum mechanics, chemical bonding, equation writing, kinetics, and equilibrium. A research project is required for this class. (This class is hybrid with both in-person and virtual learning. The schedule will be given closer to the start date.) (1 Credit)
