MMA Ready 2023

This two week class covers multiple academic areas to help with the success of students beginning Merion Mercy Academy. Along with general study skills and science lab skills, students will also review reading comprehension strategies, the grammar rules that must impart students' writing, and structures for writing effective paragraphs. Students will also be exposed to the structure and themes of each academic area such as language, math, social studies and theology while having the opportunity to ask the teacher about their specific disciplines. Physical education will be built into the program during the second week. MMA Ready! challenges students to develop a plan for success during their high school years. The goal of the course is to instill in students the importance of proactively "owning" their education both in high school and beyond.
